I am a Postdoc research scholar in Pr. Yun Song’s lab at UC Berkeley (also affiliated with the CZ Biohub). For the past few years, I have focused on the regulation and determinants of gene expression and translation. To do so, I have developed mathematical models of translation and analyzed data from Ribosome profiling and Cryo-EM/X-ray structures of ribosomes, while tackling theoretical questions related to particle processes, evolution and the biophysical properties of ribosomes.

  •  I am co-organizing a workshop in Pisa Italy, on mathematical methods for reconstructing molecular dynamics in single cell, 15-19 oct. The workshop is part of a 6 week research program in maths bio.  Registration is open to researchers and students.
  • Upcoming conferences: I will be presenting my research at the 2018 SMBE meeting in Yokohama. Dan Erdmann-Pham will present our latest work  at the 2018 SPA conference in Gothenburg, Sweden
  • Our software for visualizing and estimating the properties of the inhomogeneous l-TASEP is publicly available here: link
